ABOUT ME

Elijah Caver, a versatile musician from Fort Worth, TX, was born and raised in a musical family. His parents, Dimitri and Sherry, recognized his fascination with drums at age 2 and encouraged him to play in church. Elijah holds a bachelor's degree in music education with a classical percussion focus from Texas Christian University and a master's degree in jazz studies with a focus in jazz drumset from the University of North Texas. Elijah has performed with renowned musicians, including Billy Childs, Jeff Lederer, Ben Allison, Shelley Carrol, Quamon Fowler, and Keith Pringle, and regularly performs with his own band, freelances with other artists and groups, and teaches drumset and percussion privately and in school districts.
